Sioux Falls, SD - The University of Sioux Falls Swimming team concluded its final meet before the NSIC Championship today. The Cougars left a strong impression against DI competition at the Coyote Invite by finishing with multiple victories.
With nearly two-thirds of the events remaining after Friday's opening to the Coyote Invite, the Cougars sought to leave their mark with the NSIC Championship approaching.
"The Coyote Invite was a great tune up meet for the NSIC Championship," said Head Coach Chris Hamstra, "This was only our second meet since midseason in November. It was so important to get some more races under our belts before we enter Championship season"
On day 1 the Cougars saw Sarah Knox notch a victory against stellar DI competition. Day 2 held three USF victories with du Plessis taking part in all three, one individual and two relays.
