Wayne, NE - USF Soccer falls to Wayne State by a score of 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The Cougars took on Wayne State in Nebraska with a start time of 1 p.m. today. USF's Caroline Titze faced seven shots in the first half of the match, with three saves. The Wildcats found the back of the net in the 43rd minute to take a 1-0 lead going into the 2nd half of play.
As the 2nd half got underway, the Cougars and Wildcats both exchanged field position for most of the 2nd half, seeing no goals scored and saw the 1-0 final and victory for Wayne State. USF faced four shots with two saves in the second half of play. The Cougars will look to rebound when they'll head on the road for two games this upcoming weekend.
