Mossman Returns to USF as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

SIOUX FALLS – The University of Sioux Falls Athletic Department is proud to announce the hiring of Lindsey Mossman as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.

Mossman, a former softball player for USF, returns the Coo after earning a master's in clinical exercise physiology from the University of Mary in Bismark, North Dakota. After graduating in the top of her class, she worked as an exercise physiologist at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Missouri. Throughout her time with Mercy Hospital, she assisted with cardiopulmonary rehabilitation while ensuring patient goals and needs were met.

While in Bismarck, Mossman worked as a graduate assistant for the university, as well as a personal trainer for Proximal 50 Life Center and a cardiac rehabilitation intern for CHI St. Alexius Health. Mossman currently holds her certification as a strength and conditioning specialist as well as in basic and advanced life support.

During her time with the Cougars softball program, Mossman saw 494 at bats in 165 games ranking her 5th in the all-time USF record books. She tallied 137 hits with 67 RBIs in four seasons played with the Coo while producing 11 homeruns and 26 doubles. Mossman averaged a .280 batting average along with a .405 slugging percentage and .353 on base percentage and was named to the NSIC All-Academic team three of her four years at USF.
