Midco Sports Plus Becomes New Home for NSIC Network

8/3/2026 9:00:00 AM

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) announced a new era in digital streaming last month as Midco Sports Plus will become the exclusive streaming home of the NSIC Network.

Beginning this season, Cougar fans will be able to watch every USF home regular season conference and non-conference contest through Midco Sports Plus, while also gaining access to live and on-demand coverage from all 16 NSIC institutions and conference championship events.

The transition to Midco Sports Plus provides fans with a significantly enhanced viewing experience, featuring improved navigation, expanded device compatibility, worldwide access and new interactive features that make following the Cougars easier than ever.

Fans can choose between a monthly subscription for $15 or an annual subscription that averages less than $7 per month. In addition to complete NSIC coverage, subscribers will also receive access to Summit League events, providing even more collegiate competition throughout the year.

New Features for 2026-27

The enhanced Midco Sports Plus platform introduces several new features designed to improve the fan experience, including:

  • My Clips, allowing fans to create, save and share highlights from live events.

  • Improved navigation with sorting, search and favorite team capabilities.

  • Expanded worldwide streaming access for Cougar fans across the globe.

  • Enhanced account management and personalized viewing options.

Additional features planned later this year include multi-game viewing capabilities and expanded smart TV support, including Samsung and LG devices.

NSIC Commissioner Erin Lind believes the new platform will elevate the conference's digital presence while better serving student-athletes and fans.

"The NSIC is committed to creating the best possible experience for our student-athletes, institutions and fans, and this partnership with Midco Sports helps us do exactly that," Lind said. "With Midco Sports Plus as the new home for NSIC streaming, we're excited to provide access to our schools and championship competition while delivering a more modern, user-friendly viewing experience for fans everywhere."
