BISMARCK – The USF volleyball team swept the UMary Marauders this evening advancing to 10-7 on the season and 6-4 in the NSIC.
USF at UMARY (25-19, 25-14, 25-14)
·     Attack: The attack game was led by Sadie Voss this evening collecting 9 kills on the night followed by Grace Hanel (8) and Jordan Kuper (7). The Cougars put up an overall attacking percentage of .350 while collecting 37 kills. USF held the Marauders to just a .034 attacking percentage with 26 kills.
·     Service Line: Sioux Falls tallied 6 aces on the night led by setter, Elise Gillen (3), Nicole Jacobson (1), Caitlin Kellner (1) and Sadie Voss (1).
·     Team Effort: Elise Gillen and Davis Guetterman collected 31 of USFs 36 assists on the evening. Gillen sits at 398 career sets while Guetterman has 263, both of which are just freshmen.
·     Standing Tall: Brooklynne Albrecht and Jordan Kuper put down 6 of the Cougars 7 blocks helping hold UMary to just 47 total points on the night.
Overall
·     The Cougars averaged a .350 attacking percentage on the evening with 37 kills, 35 digs and 75 total points.
·     USF sits 6th in the NSIC standings with an overall record of 10-7 and a conference record of 6-4.
·     Sioux Falls will hit the road to take on Minot State (0-17, 0-10 NSIC) tomorrow afternoon!
