Henderson, NV - The University of Sioux Falls Men's Golf team finished their fourth day of golf this week with a 15th place finish at The Legacy Invitational. This concludes their spring break trip that also included the Warrior Invitational earlier this week.
The Cougars improved on their day 1 score by two strokes to finish with a team score of 330. In total they carded an 86-over 662 (332-330) and placed 15th beating out fellow NSIC squads Minot State, Augustana (B), and Concordia St. Paul (B).
Northeastern State took the team title with a 28-over 604 (305-299) followed by Westminster College - UT with a 32-over 608 (320-288). Carlos Gomez of Northeastern State claimed the individual title by shooting a four-under 140 (72-68). Yuki Bannai of Pomona-Pitzer placed second with a three-over 147 (77-70).
