Sioux Falls, SD – For their third tournament of the spring season, the University of Sioux Falls Men's Golf Team will partake in the NSIC Preview. The event will take place on March 28
th and 29
th.
After kicking off the season with two tournaments around Las Vegas, the Cougars return to the Midwest to play the remainder of the season a lot closer to home. The NSIC Preview will be USF's next test with the event beginning March 28
th in Blue Springs, MO. Winona State will host at the Par-72 course at Adams Pointe Golf Club which will also be the site of the NSIC Championship in April.
The Cougars collectively had a forgettable outing in Vegas and will look to regain the form they found during the Watkins Invitational back in September. Senior
Jack Evans continues to lead the team while the squads younger golfers,
Austin Boomsma and
Cole Harste, have flashed during the year. USF has fared better against NSIC opponents than out of conference ones which bodes well for them during this tournament of NSIC teams.
The two-day event will conclude on March 29
th and be followed by a trip to Rapid City on April 4
th. Live stats can be found on Golfstat.com with a direct link included on the Men's Golf schedule on USFCougars.com.
