Las Vegas, NV - The University of Sioux Falls Men's Golf team finished day 1 of the Warrior Invite this afternoon. The tournament, held in Las Vegas, will continue with a final round tomorrow.
USF took on the par 72, 7062 yard Stallion Mountain Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada this morning. The Cougars finished with a team score of 338 at 50-over par to place them 16th at the end of day 1. Washburn leads the tournament with a 16-over 304 followed by McKendree University at 18-over 306. Winona State's Bennett Thomas leads all golfers with a three-under 69 followed by Washburn's Dawson Wills, Flagler's Tomas Cavanagh, and Colorado Mesa's Timmy Cavarno all at par 72.

Gavin Metz: T102, 17-over 89, six pars
Jack Evans: T69, 10-over 82, nine pars
Cole Harste: T106, 22-over 94, six pars
Jake Oetzmann: T69, 10-over 82, eight pars
Hank Eggebraaten: T89, 13-over 85, two pars & three birdies
The Warrior Invite will continue tomorrow morning. The Men's team will also play in the Vegas Invite this Thursday and Friday.
