Las Vegas, NV - The University of Sioux Falls Men's Golf team closed out the Warrior Invitational this afternoon. The two day event is the first of two tournaments they will play in during their spring break trip.
The Cougars played the final round of the Warrior Invitational today where they ended the day with a 59-over par score of 347. Their total score for the event was a 107-over 685 which placed them 16th. In a three way tie for first place was McKendree University, Northeastern State and Washburn all at 22-over 598. Individually the Cougars were led by Jack Evans, 19-over 163, who placed T75th. Washburn's Dawson Wills took the individual title with a two-day score of three-under 141. Cam Carroll of Indianapolis placed second with an individual score of one-under 143 followed by Carlos Gomez of Northeastern State with his even 144.

Gavin Metz: 107th, 39-over 183 (89-94), 13 pars
Jack Evans: T75th, 19-over 163 (82-81), 21 pars
Cole Harste: 106th, 38-over 182 (94-88), 13 pars
Jake Oetzmann: T101st, 31-over 175 (82-93), 13 pars
Hank Eggebraaten: T96th, 26-over 170 (85-85), 10 pars & birdies on the 428-yard hole 1, 528-yard hole 6 and 426-yard hole 16
