2021-22 NSIC Men's Golf Championship concludes with USF in 10th

USF Head coach Wade Merry looks back on the season - "It was a learning year for all of us, certainly for me as a first time college coach. We only had had two guys with extensive playing experience at USF in Jack Evans and Gavin Metz, they contributed in a big way this year on and off the course but the team will look quite different next year. Looking ahead, we saw the gap between us and the top of the conference and we know we need to be better next year . We'll need to work hard in the summer and the guys coming in will need to be ready to work. We don't just have to play better, we need to be better at thinking our way around a golf course. It's my job to simplify the game for them and teach them how to approach each hole and each shot in an effective way. I enjoyed this year and I'm already excited for next year and looking forward to seeing us grow into a team that can compete with the best in our league."
