Sioux Falls, SD - USF Soccer falls to Augustana by a score of 6-0 on Friday afternoon.
The Cougars kicked off on Friday at 4 p.m. across town at Augustana. USF's senior Holli Knudsen faced 11 shots in the first half of the match, with six saves. The Vikings struck first in the 22nd minute to make it 1-0 score at the half.
As the 2nd half got underway, the Vikings struck right away in the 46th minute to take a 2-0 lead. The Vikings capitalized again in the 49', 51', and 55' to take a 5-0 lead. Augustana tacked on anther goal in the 82nd minute for a final score of 6-0 on Friday afternoon. USF faced five corner kicks on the day and Senior Holli Knudsen faced 14 second half shots for a total of 25 shots faced on the day with nine saves.
