MANKATO, MINN. – Cougar Soccer opened the weekend at #15 Minnesota State today falling 3-0.
Caroline Titze started in net for the Coo saving 5-of-8 shots on goal throughout all 90 minutes of play. MSU recorded two goals in the first half followed by one in the second.
Abby Whittington and Mariah Siem had the teams only shots during todays matchup with Siem's two shots being the only shots on goal.
Sioux Falls had eight fouls throughout the game compared to Mankato's 12 fouls and a yellow card.
USF currently sits ninth (of 15) in the NSIC with a 3-3-2 conference record followed by a 3-6-2 overall record. The Cougars will head down the road on Sunday to take on Augustana (6-4-2, 4-3-1 NSIC) at Morstad Field at 1pm.
