Sioux Falls, SD. – The University of Sioux Falls Soccer team lost today 3-0 to Augustana. The match was played at Morstad Field on Augustana's campus.
· Augustana outshot USF 24-5. The Vikings started the scoring early with Annika Bard in the 11th minute. Mackenzie Ternes added on in the 19th minute with a goal assisted by Hope Korte and Madelyn White. White put the finishing touches on Augustana's win with a goal in the 53rd minute assisted by Grace Douglas.
· Caroline Titze got the start in goal for USF and made 5 saves. Erika Leeman of Augustana received the only Yellow Card of the match.
This match moves the Cougars to 3-7-2 on the season. The Coo will be back in action Friday October 20 in St. Cloud, MN. They take on St. Cloud State at 6:00PM. This game will take place at Husky Stadium on the campus of St. Cloud State.
