SIOUX FALLS – On Senior day, Augustana beats the University of Sioux Falls Cougars 76-47
WHAT HAPPENED
· Augie started out hot and never looked back. The Vikings outscored the Cougars 18-7 in the first period.
· The Vikings went into the locker room with a 34-18 lead. The Coo came out of the half and hung tough losing the 3rd quarter 22-18
· Augustana was too much in the end holding the Cougars to just 11 4th quarter points to finish the game.
SIOUX FALLS LEADERS
· The Coo were led by Brecli Honner, Dallie Hoskinson, and Lauren Sanders with 8 points each.
· Olivia Gamoke and Dallie Hoskinson paced the Cougars in assists. Each ending up with 3 for the game
· Dallie Hoskinson also lead USF on the boards. She grabbed 8 of the Cougars 38 total rebounds.
TEAM STATISTICS
· Augustana shot 42% from the field and from 3. USF was only able to shoot 26% from the field and 20% from beyond the arc.
· The Cougars went 9-12 from the free throw line and Augie hit 16-20 at the line.
· USF was outrebounded 45-38 by the Vikings.
