Pittsburg, KS. – The University of Sioux Falls Baseball team lost their series finale in Kansas 14-11 to Pitt State.
WHAT HAPPENED
· The Cougars were down 4 runs early but a 7 run 5th inning helped The Coo get back into it.
· Pitt State and USF were even in hits on the day each getting 15.
· Cole Wright paced the Cougar pitching staff with 3 strikeouts.
SIOUX FALLS LEADERS
· Rhett Zelinksy led the way in hitting with 3.
· Noah Christenson, Rhett Zelinksy, and David Swanson each had 2 RBI.
· Tyler Cate, Noah Christenson, Ben Serie, Brady Klehr, and David Swanson all had 2 hits on the day for The Coo.

The Cougars will be back in action next weekend in Colorado Springs, CO. The Coo start a series with the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Friday Feb. 24 at 3PM!
