OWASSO – The University of Sioux Falls Men's Golf team closed out the Hillcat Classic in 7^th place. Gavin Metz placed top-5 in his return.
 
Led by Metz, the Cougars added rounds of 310 and 313 to their 314 from day 1. Overall they shot 937 (73-over) to place 7th. In his first tournament back Metz carded a 218 (76-72-70), the two-over score tied him for 4^th place at the event. Weeks played consistently through the first two rounds but struggled in the finale, tallying rounds of 76, 74, and 83 to land him tied for 31st. The final round of the tournament was played on an extended course compared to the first two: 6695 yards as opposed to 6623.
