SIOUX FALLS – Over the course of the week, USF Men's Basketball star Matt Cartwright has been named to four post season honors.

To start last week, Cartwright was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region Second Team. He is just one of 10 athletes to receive this honor across the central region. The D2CCA first and second teams were voted on by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) from each region. The Central Region consists of 42 men's basketball teams of which 10 were represented in this year's selections.

Cartwright was also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District and All-America Teams. The Division II team boasted a 3.85 average GPA with the first team checking in at 3.88.

Earlier today, Cartwright was also named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II All-District Second Team. He is one of 10 to receive central region honors.

Cartwright finished his career with 1,863 points (1,046 with USF, 817 with Augustana) while averaging 20.5 points a game. He started in 50 games for the Cougars while maintaining a .426 field goal percentage, .378 three point percentage and a .852 free throw percentage. Cartwright pulled down 196 rebounds for the Coo in just two seasons while dishing out 67 assists.
