BURNSVILLE – The NSIC has announced their weekly Golfer of the Week honors with Gavin Metz receiving this week's honor for the second consecutive week.

Metz finished this past weekend tied for fifth at the NSIC Preview Invitational in Blue Springs, Missouri. He finished 2-under-par while recording rounds of 70 and 76 to finish at 146. His opening round of 70 tied him for the lowest round by an NSIC golfer after day one. Throughout the weekend, Metz recorded five birdies and 24 pars while helping the Cougars finish tied for tenth as a team.
