BURNSVILLE, MINN. – The NSIC announced their 2023 All-Conference honors today with three athletes earning this seasons honors for women's tennis.

SECOND TEAM – SINGLES

Sydney Osburn, a freshman from Henderson, Nevada, went 11-5 on the year with her longest win streak being four this season. Osburn primarily competed as the No. 3 singles athlete for the Cougars, but also saw time as their No. 1 and No. 2 singles player. She picked up her first collegiate conference win against Ilona Freitag of the University of Mary starting her 7-3 conference record.

Danielle Thorfinnson, a junior from Glenwood, Minnesota, also earned second team honors going 5-5 on the season. Thorfinnson competed a majority of her matches as the No. 2 doubles player with just two matches at the No. 1 slot. In conference play, she went 4-3 on the season.

SECOND TEAM – DOUBLES

Ella Hancock and Sydney Osburn received second team honors in doubles action this season as the two went 7-5 on the year. Hancock, a freshman from Rapid City, South Dakota, paired up with Osburn primarily as the No. 2 doubles pair during the NSIC portion of the season. The two went 6-3 in conference play this season and look to return as key assets for the Cougars next season.
