GREENSBORO, N.C. – Brady Klehr was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Central Region Second Team.
Klehr recently received NSIC All-Conference First Team honors for his performance in the outfield as well as at the plate. He played in all 50 games for the Coo. He batted .394 with 32 RBI, 44 runs scored, and 5 home runs. Brady boasted a .588 slugging percentage, drew 22 walks and stole 10 bases. His on-base percentage went from .386 in 2022 to .470 in 2023. Brady is also very good in the outfield recording 103 put-outs and 5 assists while only having 1 error on the year. His fielding percentage is .991.
The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were firs recognized in 2007.
Founded in 1945, the American Baseball Coaches Association is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. It's over 15,000 members represent all 50 states and 40 countries. Since its initial meeting of 27 college baseball coaches in June 1945, Association membership has broadened to include nine divisions: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA, Pacific Association Division, High School, Youth and Travel.
