LAKE CITY - The Cougars put together an impressive team effort at The Jewel Golf Club en route to a second place finish.

Mason Weeks dominated on both days for the Coo as he led the team to a 10-under 566 (290-276) and a 2nd place finish. The Cougars second round score of 276 set an all-time record for best round by USF Men's Golf. Weeks took 2nd and saw his teammates put on strong performances. Freshman Riley Larson broke into the top-5 towards the end of the event and eventually finished in a four way tie for 3rd. Jimmy Clark also had a great tourney as he finished tied for 7th and put on a show in round 2 by never shooting worse than par on any hole. USF followed up a solid first round with the best round of the entire tournament by any team and came within 3 strokes of first place.
