STEVENS POINT, WIS. - USF Women's Wrestling opened their season at the Pointer Open today with Brinley Green walking away as the lone place winner for The Coo.
Green finished 4th while going 3-2 on the day. Following an opening round bye, Green tech falled North Centrals Gracie Guarino before falling to North Centrals Eliana White-Vega. She responded with a 7-6 decision over Grand Valley States Hannah Palise and a 2:26 pin over Auroras Natasha Markoutsis. Green fell to White Vega in the 3rd place match in a 10-6 decision.

The Cougars will be back in action next weekend as they head to Forest City, Iowa to compete in the Waldorf Open before opening their home dual season on November 15th against Jamestown at 6pm.
