11/27/2024 1:00:00 PM

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The University of Sioux Falls Athletic Department announces that Head Women's Soccer Coach Brittany Domino has resigned to accept a new opportunity outside of athletics, concluding a 10-season tenure with the Cougars. Coach Domino's leadership has been essential in the growth and development of the USF Women's Soccer program, both on and off the field.

"We are extremely grateful for the leadership, commitment, and contributions Brittany has given to the program and University over the last 10 years," said Jon Hart, director of intercollegiate athletics. "Her leadership, passion, and care for others have helped shape the success of countless students, staff, and community members. We wish her and her family nothing but the best in this next chapter."

Under her guidance, the team consistently increased its competitiveness while maintaining a strong commitment to academic excellence. In the 2024 season, the Cougars had 14 student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and two earning NSIC All-Academic honors. Over her 10 seasons with USF, Domino's teams exemplified academic excellence, with 49 NSIC All-Academic honorees, 53 NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence members and 11 All-NSIC athletes during her tenure.

Off the field, Domino's teams consistently demonstrated the values and mission of the University, boasting one of the top GPAs and graduation rates among USF's 19 sports. They also led many community service efforts. Since August, USF women's soccer has accumulated nearly 200 hours of service to the community.

Domino also graciously and effectively served as the Senior Woman Administrator for the University of Sioux Falls. In this role, she assisted with a variety of administrative efforts and frequently attended conference and national meetings to keep USF athletics positioned for NCAA Division II compliance.

A national search for the next head coach will begin immediately.
