Denver, Colo. - The University of Sioux Falls Baseball team fell to MSU Denver today 5-3.
Dylan Immel got the start for USF today. He went 3.0 innings and gave up 5 hits and 4 earned runs. Brady Baur came on in relief and pitched 2.2 innings and recorded 5 strikeouts. Reid Barnard also came out of the Cougar Bullpen and threw 1.1 innings and recorded 3 strikeouts. Jake Pruchniak was the final pitcher used by the Cougars and he went 1.0 innings.
At the plate USF was led by Dane Small. Dane had 2 hits in 4 at-bats and also recorded 2 RBI. David Swanson, Noah Christenson, Isaac Bonner, Rhett Zelinsky all had 1 hit on the day.
Zelinsky also stole 2 bases on the day. The USF lineup totaled 11 strikeouts on the day with MSU Denver pitcher Reichle Arcilise having 9 of them.
