Bismarck, N.D. - The University of Sioux Falls Baseball team dropped a single game with UMary today with the Marauders winning 13-3.

Owen Weadge got the ball first on the mound for USF and went 3.2 innings. He allowed 10 hits and 6 runs with 5 of them being earned. He also recorded 8 strikeouts. Derek Lundgren came on in relief and threw 1.1 innings while not giving up a hit or a run. Garrett Oswald next up out of the Coo bullpen and yielded 4 runs on 4 hits in his 0.1 inning of work. Tyler Maeyaert threw next and went 1.1 innings giving up 2 hits and 3 runs but only 1 was an earned run. Zachary Shastay finished off the game for USF allowing 1 hit.Â

At the plate, the Cougars were mostly held in check again. Tyler Cate, Dane Small, and Isaac Bonner each had 2 hits and each scored 1 run. Brady Klehr and Mitch Iliff each had 1 hit while Klehr led USF in RBI with 2. Overall, USF had 8 hits, 3 RBI, 1 walk, 6 strikeouts, and 4 left on base.Â

The Cougars are back in action on Wednesday. They will take on Wayne State in a midweek NSIC doubleheader. Game 1 will begin at 1:30PM at Sioux Falls Stadium in Sioux Falls.Â
