Sioux Falls, S.D. - The University of Sioux Falls Baseball team picked up 2 wins today. They swept a doubleheader against Bemidji State. USF won game 1 3-0 and game 2 11-0.
GAME 1 - W 3-0
Jake Ammann got the start for USF in game 1 and went 6.0 innings. He allowed 5 hits and no runs while picking up 3 strikeouts. Dylan Immel came on in relief and threw 0.0 giving up 1 hit and 1 walk. Derek Lundgren also came in to finish the game off. He did not allow a run or hit and picked up the save.
At the plate, USF was led by Isaac Bonner who had 2 hits. Brady Klehr, Ben Serie, Mitch Iliff, and Zach Andreason each had 1 hit for the game. Klehr and Serie each had an RBI. Klehr, Dane Small, and David Swanson each had 1 run scored. Overall, USF had 6 hits, 2 RBI, 4 walks, 3 strikeouts, and 7 left on base.
GAME 2 - W 11-0
Reese Gaber took the mound in game 2 for USF. He threw a complete game shutout giving up only 4 hits. He walked 2 batters and recorded 5 strikeouts while facing 25 batters.
At the plate, USF was led by David Swanson, Dane Small, and Ben Serie each had 2 hits for the game. Swanson, Small, Serie, and Mitch Iliff each scored 2 runs. Small, Serie, and Brady Klehr each had 2 RBI. Tyler Cate, Klehr, Iliff, and Ryan Gouldin each had 1 hit as well. Overall, USF had 10 hits, 10 RBI, 5 walks, 3 strikeouts, and 5 left on base.

The Cougars are back in action tomorrow. They will host Bemidji State again in a doubleheader. These games will be played at Sioux Falls Stadium with game 1's first pitch slated for 12:00PM.
