SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The World Exposure Report (WER) announced their 2023-2024 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball All-American Teams yesterday with freshman Kami Wadsworth being named the D2 Freshman of the Year.
The two-time Freshman of the Year earned the conference honor earlier this year after capping off the season with 400 points while averaging 14.8 points a game. Wadsworth led the team in the field with a 44.7 field goal percentage as well as the free throw line at 82.8%. The Hayti, South Dakota native pulled down 122 boards for the Coo averaging 4.5 rebounds a game. Wadsworth sat within the top-10 of the NSIC in scoring and field goal percentage while finishing within the top-3 in free throw percentage.
