BURNSVILLE, MINN. - The NSIC announced their 2024 Tennis All-Conference Teams with three Cougars earning honors. Freshman Chloe Siegfort was also named the NSIC Freshman of the Year for the Coo.
Siegfort became just the second USF freshman to earn this honor in the DII era, and the first since Chloe Jefferies in 2018. In NSIC play, Siegfort tallied a 7-2 record at No. 2 singles and a 5-4 record at No. 1 doubles with her partner Talia Janos. Overall, she went 10-6 on the year in singles play and 6-10 in doubles. The Gilberts, Illinois native finished fourth in the NSIC in No. 2 singles win percentage at .667 and has also been named to the NSIC All-Conference First Team - Singles.
Sydney Osburn, a sophomore from Henderson, Nevada, secured All-Conference Second Team – Singles as well as All-Conference Second Team – Doubles honors for the second time in her career after finishing the 2024 season 10-7, NSIC 5-4 in singles and 10-7, NSIC 5-4 in doubles with partner Ella Hancock. Osburn sits with a career record of 21-12, NSIC 11-7 in singles and 17-12, NSIC 10-7 in doubles.
Sophomore, Ella Hancock, earned her second NSIC All-Conference Second Team – Doubles honor with partner Sydney Osburn. The Rapid City, South Dakota native finished the season 10-7, NSIC 5-4 at No. 2 doubles for a career record of 17-12, NSIC 10-7.
