SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Women's Tennis team advanced to the NSIC Tournament semifinals today with a commanding 4-0 quarterfinal victory over Bemidji State University at Huether Family Match Pointe.
The three-seeded Cougars controlled the match from the outset, securing the doubles point in decisive fashion before winning three straight singles matches to clinch the shutout and advance.
With the win, USF moves on to the NSIC semifinals for the eighth consecutive season.

Sioux Falls established momentum early in doubles play.
Sydney Osburn and Ella Hancock rolled to a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles, while Emma Rangel and Mylin Lemke matched that score at No. 3 to lock up the doubles point before the No. 1 match was completed.
The Cougars carried that energy into singles.
Osburn was first off the court, earning a convincing 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles to give USF a 2-0 lead. Rangel followed with an identical 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 6, pushing the advantage to 3-0.
Chloe Siegfort then delivered the clinching point at the top of the lineup, defeating Mia Leshem 6-3, 6-1 to send the Cougars into the semifinals.
Several other matches were trending in USF's favor when play was halted. Sofiya Janos led 6-0, 5-4 at No. 2, while Ella Hancock and Emily Thinnsen also held leads in their unfinished matches.
