USF Women's Tennis Signs Maria Molitor

Women's Tennis Adds Grad Transfer Maria Molitor to 24-25 Roster

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The University of Sioux Falls Women's Tennis program is excited to announce the addition of graduate transfer, Maria Molitor, to the 2024-25 squad. 

"I'm very pleased to have Maria joining our team this fall," stated head coach Kevin Grebin. "Her experience playing at the collegiate level will greatly add to the strength and depth of our team for the 2024-25 season." 

Molitor joins the Coo following three seasons with St. Cloud State. During her final season with the Huskies, Molitor was named a team captain while going 4-6 in singles and 5-6 in doubles. Throughout her career, she posted an overall singles record of 17-13 and doubles record of 19-21. Molitor is a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree as well as a NSIC Team of Excellence and NSIC All-Academic Team member. Molitor was named a 2024 NSIC Myles Brand Award recipient which highlights student-athletes work in the classroom.  

The Delano, Minnesota native graduated from Delano High School as a two-sport athlete competing in tennis and track for the Tigers. Molitor is a three-time All-Conference honoree as the No. 1 singles player for DHS her sophomore through senior seasons. In the classroom, Molitor earned Academic All-State honors while also being named to the National Honor Society. During her senior year, Molitor was named a Minnesota Triple "A" Award Winner (arts, athletics, academics) for Delano High School. 

Maria is the daughter of Tami and Ken Molitor and will join her younger sister Bella Molitor as a part of the USF Tennis program as she pursues her Master of Business Administration degree.
