Cougar Volleyball Sweeps Eastern New Mexico and Montana State-Billings

SPEARFISH, S.D. - Sioux Falls swept Eastern New Mexico and Montana State-Billings today moving to 3-3 on the season.

Final Score: USF 3, ENMU 1 (25-16, 25-11, 23-25, 25-15)

MATCH RECAPS 

The Coo got their offensive game going early against the Greyhounds with a match high attacking percentage of .448 to Eastern New Mexico's .057. Overall USF finished match one with 55 kills on 128 attacks (32.8%) while ENMU finished with just 38 kills on 144 attacks (12.5%). 

Jordan Kuper landed a season-high 15 kills against the Greyhounds followed by Abby Haus with 13 and Jordyn Hamm with seven. Kuper added six blocks in match one with Haus and Hamm adding three and one respectively. 

USF rallied together for 11 service aces with Sadie Voss landing three while Elise Gillen and Tatum Godinez each added two of their own. Gillen Dished out 25 assists while Liz Kopp chipped in 22 for The Coo. Faith Van Eck paved the way for USF with 24 digs in match one. 

Sioux Falls kept the offense rolling in match two of the day landing 38 kills in 100 attempts (26%) compared to Montana State's 28 kills to 110 attacks (4.5%). 

Kuper landed 12 more kills in match two while Haus and Voss added seven apiece. Kuper also landed three of The Coo's five service aces while putting down three blocks against the Yellowjackets. 

Anna Ruhland came alive in match two with five blocks followed by Hamm with four.  

Gillen and Kopp were about even in assists in match two combining for 31 Sioux Falls' 37 while both also recorded 12 digs against MSUB. 

UP NEXT 

The Coo will be back in action tomorrow as they take on South Dakota Mines at 12:30pm (CST) and Black Hills State during the night cap at 6:30pm (CST).
