SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Cougar Volleyball (7-4, 2-1 NSIC) swept the UMary Marauders (2-9, 0-3 NSIC) during their 2024 home opener tonight.

MATCH RECAP
USF was led by Jordan Kuper, Aubrey Gates and Abby Haus tonight with each landing eight kills. Sadie Voss followed suit with seven while Jordyn Hamm and Courtney Holsteen added six and five respectively.
The Coo landed 42 kills on the night while recording a .313 attacking percentage on 96 attacks compared to the Marauders .125 percent on 112 attacks.
Elise Gillen and Liz Kopp combined for 35 assists tonight with Gillen tallying 19 and Kopp with 16.
Defensively, Voss and Kopp were all over the court with 17 and seven digs. Hamm and Voss each put back a block while Hamm and Holsteen each had three assisted blocks as well.
Offensively, USF looked sharp with a match high .444 attacking percentage in the third set to seal the deal for The Coo
