SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Volleyball team wrapped up its regular season in dominant fashion with a 3-0 sweep (25-8, 25-15, 25-19) over Mary on Saturday afternoon inside the Stewart Center. With the victory, the Cougars improved to 19-9 overall and 14-6 in NSIC play, while recording their 11th sweep of the season and extending their win streak to nine straight matches.
The day also marked a career milestone for senior outside hitter Sadie Voss, who became the first player in program history to reach 1,300 career kills — a testament to her consistency and leadership throughout her four-year career with the Cougars.
Match Summary
Sioux Falls came out firing on all cylinders, opening the match on a 12-2 run and never looked back. The Cougars hit .350 as a team while holding UMary to .099, finishing with 13 service aces, nine blocks, and 38 kills in a balanced team performance.
USF dominated the first set with a .500 hitting clip and five service aces, then followed with another efficient second frame behind key plays from Abby Haus and Courtney Holsteen. In the final set, the Cougars overcame an early tie before pulling away with a 10-2 closing run to complete the sweep.
