MANHEIM, PA. – Eight University of Sioux Falls women's wrestling student-athletes have been recognized as 2025 NWCA Scholar All-Americans, the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced Thursday. The honor highlights their commitment to excellence both on the mat and in the classroom.
To earn NWCA Scholar All-American status, wrestlers must meet one of the following criteria:
- Finish as a top-eight placer at nationals with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Compete in a minimum of 15 matches recorded in TrackWrestling while maintaining at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
- Qualify for nationals with at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
"The NWCA is proud to honor these outstanding individuals who demonstrate excellence on the mat and in the classroom as well," said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer.
