CLERMONT, FLA. - The University of Sioux Falls (9-7, 0-0 NSIC) Softball team continued its torrid stretch, securing wins over Salem (3-0, 0-0 ME) and California (PA) (3-11, 0-0 PSAC) to push its winning streak to seven games. The Cougars showcased their depth at the plate, totaling 22 hits across both games, including a come-from-behind thriller against California (PA).
GAME 1: SIOUX FALLS 3, SALEM 0
Behind a solid, one-hit shutout performance from Maddi Duncan, the Cougars defeated Salem while using timely hitting to plate three runs. Hannah Soderbeck provided the offensive spark with a clutch two-run double in the fourth inning along with a single in the sixth while accounting for all three of USF's runs.

GAME 2: SIOUX FALLS 12, CALIFORNIA (PA) 11
USF's offense erupted for 19 hits in a wild back-and-forth battle, with Kyra Knudtson's go-ahead two-run double in the sixth proving to be the difference. The Cougars overcame an early seven-run deficit, fueled by multi-hit performances from Savanna Isaacson, Jaeleigh Darnell, and Meghan Jochimsen.
