BURNSVILLE, MINN. – Mason Weeks, a senior from Spirit Lake, Iowa, has been named to the 2025 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Men's Golf Second Team All-Conference, as announced by the conference today. The University of Sioux Falls standout showcased consistent performance throughout the spring season, earning recognition among the NSIC's top golfers.
Weeks, known for his steady play and competitive spirit, posted impressive results across multiple tournaments this spring. At the Hillcat Classic (March 10-11, 2025), he carded a three-round total of 217 (70-77-70, +4), tying for 14th. He followed with a strong showing at the NSIC Preview Invitational (March 24-25, 2025), scoring 145 (69-76, +1) over two rounds to tie for 18th. At the FHSU Tiger Classic (March 31-April 1, 2025), Weeks again totaled 217 (73-68-76, +7), tying for 15th. His performance at the Augustana Spring Invitational (April 7-8, 2025) saw him score 150 (76-74, +6) to tie for 13th. Weeks capped his spring at the NSIC Men's Golf Championship (April 17-19, 2025), where he finished with a three-round 220 (75-73-72, +4), tying for 10th.
"This is a nice honor for Mason and a good way to cap his college career for us," said Head Coach Wade Merry. "He was one of the top players in our conference all season, and I am pleased the coaches in our conference recognized his talents."
