CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) has announced the 2024-25 recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards, now in its 18th year of recognizing the academic accomplishments of student-athletes across Division II.
The University of Sioux Falls was one of just 14 NCAA Division II institutions to have more than 200 student-athletes honored, joining 202 institutions nationwide in the recognition. USF had 253 student-athletes earn NSIC All-Academic honors during the 2024-25 season, including 147 named to the NSIC Academic Team of Excellence and 17 Academic All-Americans.
To qualify for the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award, student-athletes must carry a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale, complete at least two years (four semesters) of college coursework, and be an active member of an intercollegiate team during the previous academic year.
"Academic excellence is at the heart of our mission at USF," stated athletic director Jon Hart. "To see so many of our student-athletes honored on a national level is a testament not only to their dedication in the classroom, but also to the support of our coaches, faculty, and staff who help them thrive. We are incredibly proud of the way our student-athletes continue to excel both academically and athletically."
The D2 ADA had a historical 190,136 student-athletes honored for the 2024-25 season.
