SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Four University of Sioux Falls track & field and cross country student-athletes have been recognized for their accomplishments both in competition and in the classroom, earning 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.

Representing the Cougars on this year's Academic All-District Team are senior hurdler Collin Dingsor (Watertown, S.D.), senior pole vaulter Peyton Hanson (Jackson, Minn.), senior sprinter Tamia Horton (Maplewood, Minn.) and sophomore sprinter Brandon Stark (Brainerd, Minn.).

The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic achievements. Nominees must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and meet sport-specific performance standards, including ranking among the top 50 in the region in an individual event.

Collin Dingsor | Senior | Hurdles | Watertown, S.D.

A history education and secondary education major, Dingsor concluded his Cougar career with another outstanding season both on the track and in the classroom. He accumulated 20 top-10 finishes between the indoor and outdoor campaigns and recorded a personal-best time of 14.73 in the 110-meter hurdles at the Mount Marty Twilight, placing second.

Dingsor's excellence extended far beyond competition. He earned Academic Achievement and All-Academic honors while also being recognized with the NSIC Elite 18 Award, the Myles Brand Award, the Britton Kelly Award and NSIC Team of Excellence recognition.

Peyton Hanson | Senior | Pole Vault | Jackson, Minn.

Hanson, an elementary education major, put together another impressive season in the pole vault. The senior registered 15 top-10 finishes across the indoor and outdoor seasons and cleared a personal-best 3.95 meters at the Dewey Donat Classic to finish runner-up.

Her efforts earned NSIC All-Conference honors during the outdoor season, and she also collected Academic Achievement and All-Academic recognition for her success in the classroom.

Tamia Horton | Senior | Sprints | Maplewood, Minn.

Horton capped one of the most decorated seasons in program history during her senior campaign. The exercise science major totaled 30 top-10 finishes and captured conference titles in both the 60-meter and 100-meter dashes.

She established new school records in both events, clocking a program-best 7.35 seconds in the 60 meters at the NSIC Indoor Championships and a school-record time of 11.32 seconds in the 100 meters at the NSIC Outdoor Championships. Horton went on to earn NCAA All-America honors indoors and concluded her career with a sixth-place finish in the 100 meters at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

In addition to her national accomplishments, Horton was named NSIC Outstanding Senior of the Year, earned NSIC Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors and was recognized with Academic Achievement and All-Academic accolades.

Brandon Stark | Sophomore | Sprints | Brainerd, Minn.

Stark continued his emergence as one of the NSIC's premier sprinters during his sophomore season. The criminal justice and psychology major amassed 21 top-10 finishes and earned NSIC All-Conference honors during both the indoor and outdoor campaigns.

Individually, Stark established personal bests in the 60 meters (7.07), 600 meters (1:19.37), 200 meters (21.76), 400-meter hurdles (55.94) and 400 meters (47.41), including a third-place finish in the 400 meters at the NSIC Outdoor Championships.

He also played a key role in two school-record relay performances, helping the Cougars set a program record of 3:12.98 in the 4x400-meter relay and a school-record time of 41.29 seconds in the 4x100-meter relay. In the classroom, Stark earned both Academic Achievement and All-Academic honors.
