GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five University of Sioux Falls student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Team, recognizing their combined achievements in competition and in the classroom.
Representing the Cougars on this year's Academic All-District® At-Large Team are Tanna Phares, Abbie Ritzer, Brinley Green-Griffin, Stetson Davis, and Ashtin Johnson. The honor recognizes student-athletes who have excelled both academically and athletically throughout the academic year.
Phares, Ritzer and Green-Griffin earned recognition from the women's at-large category, while Davis and Johnson were honored on the men's at-large team. The CSC Academic All-District® program celebrates the nation's top student-athletes for their accomplishments in competition and in the classroom and serves as the first step toward Academic All-America® consideration.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District® honors, student-athletes must meet high standards in both academics and athletics, including participation and performance requirements within their respective sports. Nominees are evaluated on their academic achievements and athletic accomplishments during the 2025-26 academic year.
The Academic All-District® selections advance to the CSC Academic All-America® voting process. Academic All-America® teams will be announced in July.
