Sophomore forward Addison Van Zee delivered a record-setting month for USF Soccer, becoming the driving force behind the best start in program history. Van Zee recorded the first hat trick in the Cougars' NCAA Division II era and has scored five of the team’s 13 goals in September, accounting for 10 points. She proved both efficient and clutch, firing 20 shots with a .600 shots-on-goal percentage while tallying two game-winning goals in seven starts. Her impact is reflected across the NSIC leaderboards, where she ranks: 2nd in goals, 3rd in points and game-winners, and top-five in shots and shots on goal . In the USF record book, she now holds the mark for single-game goals (3) and points (6) while also climbing to 2nd all-time for points in a season (10) and tying the program record for goals in a season (5)—all accomplished in just one month and with 11 matches left to play.
