Anna Vaaler delivered a dominant December for the Cougars, averaging 21.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while logging a heavy 38.0 minutes per game across six starts. A model of efficiency, she shot 46.9% from the field and 34.8% from three, while remaining perfect at the free-throw line (7-for-7). She reached the 20-point mark in five of six games, highlighted by 24 points against Minnesota State, 23 versus Augustana, and 22-point performances at both Wayne State and Concordia-St. Paul. Her month was punctuated by a 24-point, 12-rebound double-double against Minnesota State, and she pulled down eight or more rebounds in three contests. Serving as the engine behind USF’s 4–2 December record, Vaaler earned USF Athlete of the Week honors once and was recognized on the NSIC Shining 5 twice.
