During February, Brogan Madson delivered one of the most dominant scoring stretches in program history, highlighted by a 45-point performance in an overtime win over Wayne State that tied the USF single-game scoring record. In that game, he shot an impressive 14-of-18 from the field and 13-of-17 from the free throw line. Over the course of the month, he scored 30 or more points twice and recorded four 20-plus point performances against strong NSIC competition. Madson also set the USF Division II era single-season free throw record during February while maintaining an elite percentage at the line. Overall, he averaged more than 22 points per game for the month while serving as the Cougars’ primary offensive catalyst in both conference and postseason play.
