SIOUX FALLS – The University of Sioux Falls Athletics Department will host its annual Media Day for the Football, Volleyball and Soccer programs on Wednesday, August 16 at 2:30 p.m., at the at the Suite Level of Bob Young Field at the USF Sports Complex (69th and Cliff).

Dan Genzler will open the press conference followed by a welcome from USF Director of Athletics
Josh Snyder. Following Snyder's comments, USF Football Head Coach
Jon Anderson, USF Volleyball Head Coach
Joel McCartney and USF Soccer Head Coach
Brittany Domino will discuss their respective programs. In addition, a student-athlete from each of the programs will give a brief talk on the opening of fall camp and team expectations. Those student-athletes include USF Football's
Joshua Butler, USF Soccer's
Morgan Perkins and USF Volleyball's
Janelle Lam. Following the short talks by the coaches and student-athletes, the press conference will be opened to questions.
In addition, other student-athletes from football,volleyball and soccer will be on hand to visit with the media. The student-athletes include

The USF Football Team, which has been ranked #17 in the AFCA DII Preseason Poll, is the defending NSIC champions. A year ago, USF was 12-1, including 11-0 in the NSIC, and reached the "Sweet 16" in the NCAA DII Tournament. USF, which returns 10 starters and 34 letter winners, opened fall practice on August 10. The USF Volleyball Team, which opened practice on Monday, returns five starters and eight letterwinners from last year's squad, which posted a 19-10 record, 13-7 in the NSIC. They were picked to finish seventh in the NSIC. With a 3-10-2 record and program-best 11 points in league play, USF Soccer finished 14th in the NSIC last season and were picked 13th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches Poll.
