SIOUX FALLS— The University of Sioux Falls Soccer squad, under the direction of head coach Brittany Domino, has their season finale on the docket when they head to Marshall, Minn., to face their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) travel partner Southwest Minnesota State on Friday.

The Mustangs, led by fifth-year head coach Erin Kasmarik-Mallett, have registered a record of 10-6, 8-6 on the season, including four straight wins. SMSU has defended Mattke Field well in 2019, going 6-2 at their home pitch.
Alli Miskowiec leads the Mustangs' offense, scoring 10 goals and assisting on seven more. Abbey Hoisington has also been a force, recording five goals and a team-leading eight assists. Amanda Haimes has spent all 1,461 minutes in the net for SMSU, allowing 23 goals and saved 85 potential goals.
Sioux Falls Cougars (4-12-1, 4-9-1 NSIC)-

Brittany Domino and the Cougars have a 4-12-1, 4-9-1 record heading into their final match, but the previous two matches have been a sight to see with Division II program history being made.The Cougars tied their conference win record set in 2017 and 2018, getting their fourth NSIC win of 2019, and look to break that record Friday.
Another milestone by the Cougars was set by freshman Holli Knudsen, who was named the NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week, released by the league office on Monday. Knudsen became the first Cougar to be named a Player of the Week since USF joined the NSIC in 2012, and the first time since Kelsey Van Peursem was named Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Defensive Player of the Week in 2010.
Knudsen and the Cougars went 2-0 this past weekend, beating Upper Iowa 2-0 on the road and 2-1 over Winona State on Senior Day. Knudsen allowed only one goal, recording the clean sheet against Upper Iowa, while facing 21 corner kicks and registering 21 saves.
