BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- The University of Sioux Falls Football and Basketball teams will be featured as part of the continuing broadcast partnership between the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) and Midco Sports Network® during the 2019-20 academic year.
USF will be featured in three broadcasts by MidcoSN, which will include two home football and a home basketball doubleheader. In football, the Cougars will host Augustana in the "Key to the City" rivalry matchup at 6 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Bob Young Field. On Oct. 19, the USF Football Team will host Minnesota Duluth in a 1 p.m., game at Bob Young Field. In basketball, USF will host city rival Augustana on Friday, Feb. 21 at the Stewart Center with the game time set for 5:30/7:30 p.m.
In total, the MidcoSN will carry 10 football games, 20 NSIC regular season and 14 tournament basketball games along with seven NSIC volleyball tournament matches for a total of 51 live events on MidcoSN in 2019-20. MidcoSN will continue its full coverage of the NSIC/Sanford Health Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments. The schedule will include all 14 games of the tournaments played at the Sanford Pentagon along with the 10 regular season men's and women's doubleheaders. The partnership will included 34 live basketball contests produced and aired live on MidcoSN. The broadcasting of the volleyball tournament, which is set for Nov. 22-24, is new this year.
For the past five years, the NSIC, a 16-team, 18-sports, NCAA DII conference, and MidcoSN have partnered to broadcast numerous live and taped-delayed regular season and tournament contests from various NSIC sports.
