SIOUX FALLS - The University of Sioux Falls Football team, which finished 7-4 a year ago with its 25th straight winning season, will host the inaugural QB Club Luncheon at noon on Thursday, Aug. 29 at the Pizza Ranch (2717 W. 41st Street). The event will be the first of six scheduled during the 2019 season.
The USF QB Club Luncheon is open to all alumni, fans, and friends of the program to hear from third-year head coach,
Jon Anderson, his staff, and current players about the program. The public is invited to the event, which will be held every two weeks with the next one set for Sept. 12. Other dates for the QB Club Luncheons include Oct. 3, 17, 31 and Nov. 14. All luncheons will start at noon at the Pizza Ranch. Fans are urged to attend to receive updates about the Cougars.
Under the direction of Coach Anderson, the USF Football team is 16-7 in two seasons with three playoff berths in four years.
USF begins it season on the road, facing Concordia-St. Paul at Sea Foam Stadium in St. Paul, Minn., on Thur., Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. The Cougars will then return to Bob Young Field for their home-opener and Military Appreciation Day versus Winona State on Sat., Sept. 14 at 1 p.m.
