KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the third time this year and at the NCAA DII level, the University of Sioux Falls Men's Basketball Team (19-5, 15-3
NSIC) has received votes in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Top 25 Poll which was released Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 11). The Cougars, which have won five straight games, including a sweep at home of Northern State and MSU Moorhead, jumped their vote total for four to 22 votes in balloting this week.
If the poll was extended out, USF would be ranked
28th, up from
34th a week ago, in NCAA DII. The Cougars also jumped to 5th in the
D2SIDA Central Region DII poll which was move of three spots. The Cougars, directed by Head Coach
Chris Johnson, will face a road test this week as they travel to face Winona State on Friday, Feb. 14 before battling Upper Iowa in Fayette, Iowa, on Saturday, Feb. 15.
