(RV) Men's Basketball to start NSIC / Sanford Health MBB Tournament at home versus Minot State

BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Finishing off their regular season with a, 75-64 victory over Wayne State on Saturday evening, a win that clinched the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) South Division for the first time in program history, the University of Sioux Falls Men's Basketball team will look to avenge a regular season loss to NSIC North No. 8 Seed Minot State. The Beavers come to the Stewart Center on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.

The 2020 NSIC / Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament bracket has been released as the 22-game regular season ended Saturday night. Sioux Falls finished 17-5 in the NSIC to claim its first NSIC South Division Crown. Northern State (18-4) won the NSIC Overall and North Division Titles for the third year in a row and will be the top seed in the north division. 

The first round of the tournament is set for Wednesday, February 26 on the campuses of the top four seeds in each division*.  The quarterfinals, semifinals and championship will take place on February 29 & March 2-3 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  All rounds of the NSIC/Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament played at the Sanford Pentagon will be aired live on MidcoSN and streamed for free via Stretch Internet. 

Tiebreakers:  
North Division
BSU earned the fourth seed in the north over SCSU as BSU swept the season series.
UMC earned the sixth seed in the north over UMary as UMC swept the season series.
South Division
WSC earned the sixth seed in the south over CSP as the teams split during regular season, but WSC had a better divisional record.
*Minnesota State will host Bemidji State in the first round as they have a better overall NSIC record.
