BURNSVILLE, MINN. – The University of Sioux Falls Football Team, which finished fourth overall and won an NSIC South Division title, had seven first-team and 11 total student-athletes named to the All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference squad, which was released Wednesday morning by the league office.
The Cougars finished 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the South with a squad that included seven first-team selection and four others named to the second team. It was a USF team that finished the year ranked in the top 10 in the region with the program second-ever NSIC South Division title (2016, 2021). In addition, this team continued to follow the program's #winnerswin mantra with a 27
th consecutive winning season – a mark which ranks fourth best across all divisions of the NCAA. It was also USF's seventh season in nine at the NCAA DII level with at least eight wins or more.
Fifth year Head Coach
Jon Anderson was pleased with the announcement of 11 standouts from USF being honored.
"Congratulations to the 11 players who were named to the NSIC All-Conference team. I think all of them are very deserving to be selected by opposing coaches as the best players in a league full of great players. We are proud of their efforts and as leaders for our team," said Anderson, whose teams have won 32 games in the past four seasons.

FIRST TEAM HONOREES --
Thuro Reisdorfer
Thuro Reisdorfer, a 2019 second-team All-NSIC selection, has earned his second All-NSIC honor and first time on the first team. A junior from Sioux Falls, S.D., he led the NSIC and ranked 14
th in NCAA DII in rushing with 111.5 yards per game and was second in the league in rushing TDs with 10 (31st in DII), average per carry at 6.4, third in all-purpose yards with 1,220 or 122.0 per game. He finished with 174 carries for 1,114 yards, which was second in the NSIC and 17th in DII, and now has 365 carries for 2,366 yards for 10
th all-time at USF. Reisdorfer is just the fifth back in school history to reach 1,000 yards rushing in back to back seasons. He joins David Ruter, 1996-98, Mike Dvoracek, 2004-06; Nick Kortan, 2001-02; and Nephi Garcia, 2013-14. Reisdorfer totaled six 100-yard plus rushing games this season and now has 11 in his career which ranks tied with Gabe Watson (2017-18) for seventh all-time at USF. Of those six, he had a high of 160 yards and three TDs against Concordia St. Paul and had at least 145 yards or better in five of those six 100-yard games. He also had 10 runs of 20 yards or more including a best of 64 yards. Reisdorfer, who rushed for 1,150 yards as a sophomore in 2019, has 29 career TDs with 23 by rushing. He has a school record 98-yard TD run vs Northern State (10-26-19) and an 80-yard kickoff return vs Minn. Crookston (10-12-19) as he has scored by rush, reception, and kickoff return.
Dominic Pegley
Dominic Pegley, a 6-1, 215-pound graduate transfer from Akron, Ohio (Coventry HS), accumulated a team-high 53 passes for 661 yards with five TDs. As a result, he has caught 103 passes in his past two seasons (USF, Alderson Broaddus). Aside from his big play ability at wide receiver, Pegley have the uncanny ability to block kicks with three this year which ranks first in the NSIC and in NCAA DII. Six times this year he had both at least five receptions in a game and 60 0r more yards. Pegley had a game-high of eight receptions twice against Bemidji State and Augustana and a best of 98 yards receiving against U-Mary.
Brennan Moran
Brennan Moran, a 6-4, 300 offensive guard from North Sioux City, S.D., was part of an offensive line that helped USF lead the league and rank 18
th in rushing with 217.6 yards per game. Six times, USF had 200 yards or more rushing in 11 games with three over 300 (388 vs Concordia St. Paul, 365 against Minnesota State and 311 vs U-Mary. In addition, he was part of an offensive front that ranked seventh in DII and second in the conference by allowing just 0.73 sacks per game or just eight over 11 games. In making 11 start starts, he had a 85 percent grade with his highest mark of 90 percent against Augustana. This season, he had 96 knockdowns and allowed just one sack. In his career in 23 straight starts, he is grading at nearly 87 percent with 154 career knockdowns.
Harvey Enalls
Harvey Enalls, a 6-1, 225-pound linebacker from Sioux Falls, S.D. (Washington HS), is a three-time All-NSIC honoree with a second team honors in 2019 and this is his first All-NSIC first team honor. One of the league's top linebackers again in 2021, he played in 44 games for USF with 42 starts and accumulated 182 career tackles with 114 solo stops. In his career, he had 18.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks and five fumble recoveries. Enalls, who anchored the middle of the USF defense, had 50 tackles in 2021 with 35 solo stops, five tackles for loss and a sack. He was part of a USF defense that ranked fourth in the NSIC and 38
th nationally by allowed 114.8 rushing yards per game, first in scoring defense in the NSIC and 38
th nationally at 20.3 and fifth in total defense at 366.5 yards per game. His career best performances included 13 tackles in the Nov. 23, 2019 playoff game at Colorado Mines and 13 tackles against Bemidji State in 2018.
Dorian Fedrick
Dorian Fedrick, a 6-2, 177-pound cornerback from Rialto, Calif. (Redlands HS), was one of the league's top defensive backs over the past two years. In 22 games with 22 starts while accumulating 57 solo stops and 78 tackles in his career. He had 7.0 tackles for loss, two sacks, eight passes defended, a forced fumble and two interceptions. This season, Fedrick finished with 47 tackles, including 40 solo stops and 6.0 tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception and three pass breakups. He was part of a USF defense that ranked fourth in the NSIC and 38
th nationally by allowed 114.8 rushing yards per game, first in scoring defense in the NSIC and 38
th nationally at 20.3 and fifth in total defense at 366.5 yards per game. He had a career-high nine tackles against Augustana and SMSU this season.
Joey Wehrkamp
Joey Wehrkamp, a 6-2, 250-pound defensive end from Sioux Falls, S.D., ranks as one of the best defensive linemen in the league. In his career, he made 46 consecutive starts including 11 in 2021. In total, he accumulated 17.5 sacks - ninth all-time at USF - and 34 TFLs - 10th all-time at USF. Wehrkamp accumulated 132 tackles with 83 solo stops, nine pass breakups, four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles. This year he ranked second in the NSIC in sacks with 9.5 and fourth in tackles for loss with 16. Wehrkamp totaled 37 tackles with 28 solo stops this year with five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He was part of a USF defense that ranked fourth in the NSIC and 38
th nationally by allowed 114.8 rushing yards per game, first in scoring defense in the NSIC and 38
th nationally at 20.3 and fifth in total defense at 366.5 yards per game. He had a game-high nine tackles against Bemidji State in 2018.
Seamus Hall
Seamus Hall, a 6-2, 185-pound freshman punter from Walla Walla, Wash., Texas, ranked seventh in the NSIC with 38.7 yards per kick. But the freshman tied for the league lead with 12 fair catch punts while placing 12 punts inside the 20. In addition, he had five punts or over 50 yards with a best of 64 yards. He had 42 punts for 1,627 yards and no blocked kicks. Teams returned just 18 punts and due to his hang time and placement averaged just 8.7 yards per return.
SECOND TEAM HONOREES -
Landon Freeman
Landon Freeman a 5-11, 178- pound redshirt sophomore from Sioux Falls, S.D., had a breakout season in 2021. Freeman turned into one of the league's top breakaway threats. In 11 games, Freeman rushed 87 times for 827 yards with 10 total touchdowns, including nine by rush. He had a long of 71 yards rushing among his nine rushing scores while also catching a 58-yard reception. Freeman led the league with 9.5 yards per carry, ranked sixth overall and averaged 75.18 yards per game. Named NSIC Player of the Week following the 45-35 win over Minnesota State, Freeman had the second best all-purpose total in school history with 314 yards in 14 touches for a school mark of 22.65 yards per touch. He also tied the school's game mark with five total TDs. He also finished this year with 13 kickoff returns for 230 yards or 17.69 per carry and a long of 42 yards. This year, he had 11 plays of 20 yards or more with a long of a 71 yard rush and 58-yard pass reception.
Jasper Parks
Jasper Parks, a 6-7, 315 offensive guard from Mesa, Ariz., was part of an offensive line that helped USF lead the league and rank 18
th in rushing with 217.6 yards per game. Six times, USF had 200 yards or more rushing in 11 games with three over 300 (388 vs Concordia St. Paul, 365 against Minnesota State and 311 vs U-Mary. In addition, he was part of an offensive front that ranked seventh in DII and second in the conference by allowing just 0.73 sacks per game or just eight over 11 games.In 11 starts, Parks had an 81 percent grade with a high of 88 percent against Concordia-St. Paul. He allowed just one sack and recorded 42 knockdowns.
Amaurii Grosskopf
Amaurii Grosskopf, a 6-4, 280-pound redshirt sophomore from Beloit, Wisc., was a key performer in the middle of USF's defensive front. Grosskopf, who has started 23 consecutive games, has 24 tackles with 15 solo stops, three TFLs and two sacks for a USF defense that ranked fourth in the NSIC and 38
th nationally by allowed 114.8 rushing yards per game. The Cougars were first in scoring defense in the NSIC and 38
th nationally at 20.3 and fifth in total defense at 366.5 yards per game. He now has 38 solos and 63 tackles with eight TFLs and four passes broke up in two seasons at USF. He had a career-best eight tackles against Minnesota State in 2019.
Cody Jantzen
Cody Jantzen, a 6-3, 230 redshirt-sophomore from St. Germaine Pines, Wisc., led USF with 55 tackles, including 38 solo stops. He had six tackles for losses of 20 yards with a sack and pass breakup. In 23 games at USF, Jantzen has 45 solo stops, 65 tackles, four TFLs and two passes defended. Twice he had nine tackles or more including a career best 10 against Winona State. In addition, the standout linebacker recorded at least two solo stops in every one of USF's 11 games. He He was part of a USF defense that ranked fourth in the NSIC and 38
