BURNSVILLE – The NSIC announced their player of the week selections earlier today with Thuro Reisdorfer being named this week's NSIC Offensive Player of the Week. Reisdorfer has been named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Reisdorfer had a career setting game this past weekend when the Cougars defeated the University of Mary 41-27 on the road to advance to 7-0 on the season.  Rushing for 219 yards on 36 carries and three rushing touchdowns, Reisdorfer surpassed his previous career record of 171 yards and 26 carries.

Currently, Reisdorfer sits seventh in the USF all-time rushing category with 3,332 yards and leads the NSIC in rushing, scoring and all purpose yards. With 966 rushing yards this season, Residorfer also sits fourth in the NCAA DII in rushing yards and fourth in scoring with 84 points on the season and 14 touchdowns.
